Welcome to Goobid, go buy and sell Australia's own online auction community.

This web-site is intended to be a friendly, enjoyable and useful experience, but as with anything concerning any kind of transactions there are risks involved and we strongly advise you to understand all of these terms before joining. If you spot a listing that you feel is violating the general terms and conditions of this web-site as stated below please let us know by contacting us.

Goobid's reserves the right to change or amend this agreement at any time. If you do not agree to such changes, you have to stop using our services.

Listing Policy
You, private and business allow to use this auction site for the purpose of buying and selling only.
You may make link to your website regarding to your terms, policy, about us, contact us and other sites to describe your listing.
You must state 'New' or 'Used' in the item title and you may or may not further explain the item condition in the description.
You must not state 'No Pickup' but you can state 'Pickup available for item sold over $50 only' to comply with our selling policy.
The item in question must be available at the time of listing or if it is from the suppliers you must state 'Order' in your listing.

Selling
Item value over $50 when selling or sold, it is compulsory that pickup is available at the seller's location.

Buying
When you buy or bid and won you are legally in a sale binding contract, you have the obligation to complete the transaction.
You are advised to communicate with the seller if you have any question so you know what you are buying.

Payment
There will be at least 1 method payment provided by the seller in the item listing and if you wanted other options you will need to contact the seller for approval prior buying.
Paypal payment is not a free service and it attracts a handling fee if you choose to use it.

Feedback 
Feedback you provide on other members must relates to a specific transaction and not contain offensive, defamatory or inappropriate language. Goobid reserves the sole right to determine what is considered offensive, defamatory or inappropriate language. 

Rights To Suspend or Terminate
You agree that this web-site, in its own discretion, may terminate any auction or use of the service immediately and without notice if (a) We believe that you are not abiding by the general rules of this web-site
(b) You have repeatedly broken a certain term (c) You have listed a suspicious item (d) We believe you to be a non paying bidder. In most cases when we suspect foul play we will suspend your account/listing whilst we investigate further. If our investigation is conclusive then your account with us will be terminated. 

Your Conduct
You are solely responsible for the contents of your actions through this web-site. You must ensure that your participation in the selling or buying of items does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. By this we mean that you must check that you entitled to sell or buy the relevant item and that you are not prohibited from doing so by any law or regulation. 
You must not transmit through the service any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material. You must also not transmit any material that encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law or regulation. 

Membership
Membership to this web-site is only available to those you can form a legally binding contract. This web-site does not permit minors (under
18) to register. If any member fails to signup with their correct age the account will be terminated immediately. 

General Terms
This site acts as the window for sellers to conduct auctions and for bidders to bid on sellers' auctions. 
This web-site assumes no liability for the content of the listings. 
However if you fall victim of a fraudulent transaction we will assist you as much as we can. 

Return & Refund Policy
You are entitled to return a product if there is a problem with it. You are responsible for returning the product to the seller. You can ask for a refund, replace or repair within 30 days directly from the seller. After 30 days you can claim warranty directly from the manufacturer if the product is still under warranty.

Laws
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of state of Victoria and any disputes will be decided only by the Courts of state of Victoria.
